What is REALLY the origin of the name Moses?

It says: “וְתִקְרָא שְׁמוֹ מֹשֶׁה  = vah-teek-rah sh’moh moh-sheh “And his name shall be called Moses” = (Exodus 10:2). The explanation to the name is, “כִּי מִן הַמַּיִם מְשִׁיתִהוּ”  = kee meen hah-mah-yeem meh-shee-tee-hoo,“Because of the water I drew him.” Of course it is a play on words in Hebrew, but the Egyptian princess who saved Moses did not know Hebrew! So where did the name Moses come from?

In ancient Egypt, ms = child = יֶלֶד = yeh-led. Msy = to be born = לְהִוַּלֵד = leh-hee-vah-led. mose = was born = נוֹלַד.

Sometimes, when a child was born, the Egyptian parents called him after a God who was born. For example, ah mose means the moon god was born = אֶל הַיָּרֵחַ נוֹלַד = ehl hah-yah-reh’ahkh noh-lahd. ‘ra mose’, means that God Ra was born =  הָאֵל רַע נוֹלַד = hah-ehl rah noh-lahd. Over time, the name was shortened and remained mose. And so here, too, the name mose = משֶׁה = moh-sheh in our language, is an Egyptian name that was quite common in Ancient Egypt.
